Join us for this special Chamber Breakfast, as we celebrate International Women's Day. Hear from keynote speaker, Kylie Oberweather, on her transition from a full-time family counselor to the full-time Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A.
About our speaker:
Kylie Oberweather has been a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator for 5 years, with the first 4 having been in Jefferson City, MO. She relocated back home to Kansas City last year and has been the Owner/Operator at the Chick-fil-A on 135th since June 2023.
Prior to Chick-fil-A, she achieved her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, working in the mental health field. She served in both community mental health and at a local psychiatric hospital.
Through conversations and some divine intervention, she felt the pullback to Chick-fil-A in 2015. From there, she wanted to learn what it takes to be an Owner/Operator. With lots of time in the kitchen, learning the operation, and perfecting her own self-leadership, she was selected to be a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator on January 29, 2019.
When she isn't slinging chicken, you can find her playing outside with Beckett, who is 4, and Norah, who is 2. Her husband of 7 years, Jesse, keeps her grounded and is the constant safe place for her. She is passionate about all things wellness, coffee, reading, and growth. She loves date nights with Jesse, and she's training for a half marathon currently.
