Leawood's Young Professionals invite YOU (all ages!) to volunteer with them on Monday, July 22 from 8:30am-1pm, in support of SOAR.
This year's SOAR Camp theme is Camp SOARLand, a family game night!
Camp at Westside Family Church (8500 Woodsonia Dr, Lenexa, KS 66227) is the week of July 22-26, 2024, from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Volunteers can serve anywhere from 1 half-day to 5 full days as buddies to individuals with special needs, medical team, craft assistants, sensory rotation, outdoor games, hospitality, and more. Role descriptions can be viewed HERE. Volunteers will receive free lunch every day, and those who serve at least 3 full days earn a camp t-shirt. Volunteers must be going into 6th grade and older to volunteer without a parent present.
Our Young Professionals group is volunteering on Monday, 7/22 from 8:30am-1pm, and invites you to join them during that time. If you are unable to join that shift, signing up for another shift is more than encouraged.
